Trevithick Day
Members of UKIP from the Redruth, Camborne & Hayle constituency had very productive day at the Trevithick Day celebrations. David Parker the branch chairman said the he had noticed a change in the public awareness and conception of the EU.
Last year people were somewhat apathetic towards the political parties but now they were angry at the way the Labour Government had given away our country to a foreign power, namely the EU.They were angry that we the voters were not given a referendum over the Lisbon Treaty, which in all essence was the old Constitution.
We, but mainly David with his cherubic good looks handed out over 400 of the ‘Remote Control’ DVD to members of the public.
We took great pains in explaining to the people often crowded around the stand that the loss of our post offices was because of the EU with the collusion of the British Government
Jeff Mager the Cornwall County Chairman said that it was a tremendous day out at a very well attended, well organised, celebration of a famous Cornishman.
