Mick Faulkner, a builder, and a retired fisherman, was recently formally adopted as the UKIP Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for St Ives and the Isles of Scilly.
The Chairman of the Branch said: “This is a man to watch – he has stood in General Elections before, and has never lost his deposit, steadily increasing his share of the vote every time he stands..
He is practised in politics, having served in the European Parliament in Brussels.”
