Opening of the new Truro Offices
The UK Independence Party is proud to announce that they are opening their office in 28 Lemon Street Truro on Sat 16th February.
The opening ceremony will be performed by Roger Knapman MEP at 11am, this marks a great leap forward for UKIP in Cornwall said Jeff Mager their county chairman as this will give our 6 Prospective Party Candidates a focal point to meet the public and press.
Initially it will be open from 11am to 3pm on Saturdays however as more party volunteers come forward we will extend the opening hours throughout the week.
When the next general election is called UKIP intend fighting all 6 constituencies in Cornwall and our 6 PPC’s are already making their presence felt on the political scene in Cornwall.
From Monday the 11th February we will be touring different venues around Cornwall with our promotional trailer asking the public to sign a ballot paper in favour of a referendum on the EU Constitutional Treaty (Lisbon Treaty).
We in UKIP are concerned that no-one since 1973 has been given a vote on Britain’s continued membership of the EU and we feel that it is high time the public were asked, whether you favour British membership or you should at least have a vote on this far reaching Constitutional Treaty.
