News South East Cornwall had a very pleasant social evening at the Globe Inn, Lostwithiel on 5th July. Our next get together will be at the Copley Arms, Hessenford on Tuesday 19th July from about 6.30pm. We also had a very good day at the Liskeard Show where the response from the public was encouraging and nothing at all to do with the wine on offer. (And sometime soon we are going to remember to take some photos so that we can show our bright and attractive stand, complete with bunting and balloons, not to mention our ‘uniformed’ members in their UKIP polo shirts.) Our message on a couple of large posters (with thanks to Bruce and Trago) was ‘UKIP is growing and we are celebrating’. Our next outing will be to Mt Edgecumbe on Sunday 7th August.
